2nd Australian Working Holiday Visa - How It Works?
The Australian 2nd working holiday visa is designed for young people, who wish to travel around Australia and work to supplement their travel.
To apply, you must have completed a minimum of 88 days specified work. You may be asked to complete a 1263 employment verification form for further evidence.
This type of visa usually takes 48 hours to be granted. However further information can be requested and therefore will take longer to process.
Once granted, your 2nd working holiday visa will be valid for 12 months which means you have 12 months to activate your visa by entering Australia. If you are applying from inside Australia, your visa will be extended for a further 12 months, from the date you first entered Australia.
Your visa will be electronically tagged to your passport and notification will be sent by E-Mail, which outlines all terms and conditions of your visa.
You will be able to study for up to 4 months and work for any employer for up to 6 months.
On your second working holiday, you can return to an employer that you worked for previously on your first working holiday for no longer than 6 months.
The cost of an Australian second working holiday visa is $486.00 USD.
