To be eligible to apply for an Australian 2nd working holiday visa you must have completed a minimum of 3 months (88 days) of specified work.

Specified work includes:

  • Agricultural
  • Mining
  • Construction

You will be required to supply eligible work details to support your application including:

  1. ABN (Australian Business Number)
  2. Postcodes*
  3. Exact Dates (Day/Month/Year)

You must also meet the basic requirements to be granted a working holiday visa:

  • Be between 18 - 30 years of age.
  • Not have accompanying dependent children.
  • Be applying no more than 12 months before you intend to travel to Australia.*
  • Be outside Australia when the visa is granted.*
  • Be within Australia when the visa is granted.**

** If applying from inside Australia.


You must also hold a valid passport from one of the following countries:
