Australian 6 Month Tourist Visa Obligations
Once your Australian 6 month tourist visa is granted you must comply with the conditions put on the visa. This visa is valid for 12 months, however you may only stay for up to 6 months at any one time.
If you wish to extend your stay you must contact one of the immigration branches in Australia.
You must declare as part of your application that you will obey by the following obligations, faliure to do so may result in cancellation of your visa and you being asked to leave:
- You must not work on this visa.
- You must leave Australia once your visa expires.
- You can not study or train for more than 3 months.
