Non-ETA Eligible Tourist Visa Obligations
Once granted a non-ETA eligible tourist visa is valid for 12 months. However, you must not stay for longer than 3 months in any one stay in Australia.
As part of your application, you must declare you will abide by the following conditions:
- You understand that the visa you are applying for does not allow you to work.
- You must not study for longer than 3 months in Australia.
- Your intention to visit Australia is genuine.
- You have sufficient funds to cover all costs associated with your visit.
- You acknowledge that you understand that if the 8503 visa condition is imposed on your visa, this will be indicated on your visa label by the condition code '8503' and by the short description 'No Further Stay'.*
* This means that you will be required to leave Australia on or before the date or time period notified on your visa label and that you cannot apply for another visa to extend your stay in Australia.
The cost of a non-ETA eligible tourist visa is $45.00 USD.
