The Work and Holiday visa arrangement is in place for people from: Chile, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey and the United States of America. We only issue visas for those from the United States as they can apply online.

If you do not hold a U.S. passport but hold one of the above passports, your application will be processed manually.

To apply, you must be outside Australia. You will also need the following information:

  2. Contact details.
  3. Past or present education details.*
  4. Means of payment.

* You must have at least graduated from high school.


The cost of an Australian work and holiday visa is $414.00 USD.
