Australian Working Holiday Visa Obligations
Once your Australian working holiday visa has been granted, you must comply with all your visa conditions whilst in Australia.
Breaching any of the conditions may result in your working holiday visa being cancelled and you having to leave Australia.
You must comply with the following conditions:
- You must not study in Australia for longer than 4 months.*
- You can do any kind of work in Australia and may work with the same employer for up to 6 months.**
- You must leave Australia once your visa expires.
* If you study while on your first working holiday visa, you may return to the same institution if granted a second working holiday visa.
** The 6 month work limitation applies to full-time, part-time, casual and shift work.
